THE RIVERBOATS MUSIC FESTIVAL
Yorta Yorta Country - Echuca-Moama, Victoria
*HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE - RACV Victorian Tourism Awards (Festivals & Events)
*GOLD - 2017 QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards (Festivals & Events)
The Riverboats Music Festival is the Murray River’s premiere contemporary music event.
Staged in the twin-towns of Echuca-Moama on the third weekend in February each year, Riverboats takes place under towering river red gums in a natural amphitheatre next to the mighty Murray. Historic paddlesteamers meander past all weekend, and occasionally the corellas get a bit raucous at sunset. We have one stage and plenty of room for dancing, brilliant artists and some of the best food trucks going round.
In 2024 the Riverboats Music Festival returns from February 16-18 - come and join us for a weekend on the river.

THE LOUNGE ROOM SESSIONS
Live Music for Uncertain Times.
The year 2020 saw our industry decimated by the cancellations and postponements brought about as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
In unprecedented times such as these we could despair or we could innovate, and with that in mind Westbound launched a platform to support the artists who have supported us.
The concept was simple - twice a week we invited an Australian solo artist to perform a live set from their lounge room, which was broadcast live to The Lounge Room Sessions Facebook page. A link was included alongside each post where viewers could make an optional contribution to the artist via a dedicated fundraising page, with 100% of all funds received paid to the artist.
In total over $45,000 was donated to Australian performing artists, with the series winning Time Out Magazine’s Award for Favourite Music Livestream.
